TAWAU: Tawau MP Datuk Christina Liew said the month of Ramadan is an appropriate time to do more good deeds and present contributions to disadvantaged groups in the interest of their well-being.

During her current visit to the Tawau constituency, she met with the people at Kg Hidayat Batu 4 1/2, Jalan Apas, and presented two wheelchairs for two families in need, respectively.

“This should ease the burden shouldered by the families concerned,” she said.

Liew also contributed three water tanks for the residents of Kg Rancangan Batu 22, Jalan Apas Balung for clean water supply and improved sanitation. While there, the MP unveiled a new signboard for the village.

To date, the Tawau Parliamentary People’s Service Centre has put up more than 30 signboards for villages in the Sri Tanjung, Apas and Balung state constituencies, using Liew’s MP Fund.
