KOTA KINABALU: President of Amanah Mat Sabu sprang a surprise when he and party members turned up at the N20 Api Api Election Operations Room here on Tuesday.
He said he came to lend moral support to the incumbent Api Api Assemblywoman Datuk Christina Liew who is defending her seat under the PKR banner in the State snap polls on September 26.

The Operations Room was a hive of activity as PKR members from Sabah, Perlis, Kedah and Selangor joined hands in packing Liew’s Report Card and the Unity Poster of Parti Warisan President Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal into thousands of ecobags for distribution to voters in the Api Api Constituency.
“I really appreciate the assistance rendered by party members from all over Malaysia. They are a great help to me,” Liew remarked.
Other visiting PKR leaders included MP for Shah Alam Khalid Samad, MP for Alor Setar Chan Ming Kai, MP for Ulu Selangor June Leow, State Assemblyman for Kota Damansara, Shatiri Mansor and State Assemblyman for Kajang, Hee Loy Sian.
