Boats ferrying drinking-water to flood victims

DONATION… Some 1,200 bottles of mineral water were donated by Sabah PKR Chief Datuk Christina Liew on Monday May 24)for the flood victims at Kg Takuli, Kg Limbawang and Kg Cina in the Beaufort district. Boats were used to ferry boxes of mineral water to residents’ homes at Kg Cina which is next to Pekan Beaufort, as the road leading to the housing area was still submerged. However, the situation had improved by 12 noon on Tuesday (May 25)when the flood waters receded.
