30 families  Sungai Keling receive donations from Pearl Singers Association

LABUAN:  A total of 30 families in Kampung Sungai Keling, Labuan had received assistance in daily necessities and face masks from the Labuan  Pearl Singers Association. 

The Association Chairman, Dr Baby Chong Vui Hiong handed over a RM1300 contribution at the SK 36 Sungai Keling Community Hall on Saturday.

 Also present were Village Head, Teo Ping Ping, Deputy Chairman of the Association of Puan Thau Mui Tshin, Bursary, Mr Tang Hia Kung, and committee members of Labuan Pearl Singers Association.

Meanwhile, Dr Baby Chong said the contribution was a sign of concern in order to ease the burden faced by the surrounding residents during this challenging period.

“We appreciate the efforts and cooperation from the village headman in ensuring the success of this programme,'” she said.

Dr Baby Chong also reminded the villagers to always take care of their health and adhere to the SOP set in Labuan Island even though Labuan Island has entered phase 4 of the  Pelan Pemulihan Negara (PPN).
