MOONCAKE FESTIVAL…PKR Tawau MP Datuk Christina Liew was among the guests who attended the Lantern Festival Celebration organised by Tawau DAP at the Sin On Market on Saturday night.
She took time off to visit the night stalls promoting local products.
National DAP Deputy Secretary-General Liew Chin Tong, who graced the occasion, led the drum-beating ceremony to mark the start of thecelebration.
He urged the people to support Pakatan Harapan in the forthcoming 15th General Election.
Highlights included lion dances, mooncake distribution, a musical presentation by the Teo Chew Association Chinese Orchestra and cultural performances, including Hakka songs.
