KOTA MARUDU: A total of 2,586 Heads of Households (KIR) of flood victims received food basket assistance from the State Government.
Aid was presented by the Chief Minister’s representative, Datuk James Ratib at Dataran Bandau on Saturday.
He also delivered cash assistance to 100 KIR while the rest will be channeled to the victim’s bank account.
It is hoped that the assistance will help to some extent to ease the burden of the victims involved in the flood disaster.
Also present were Kota Marudu Member of Parliament, Datuk Wetrum Bahanda, Tandek Assemblyman, Hendrus Anding and District Officer, Alexander Yong.
