TWO THOUSAND STATIONERY SETS…Free stationery sets under Tawau MP Datuk Christina Liew’s ‘Jom Balik Sekolah’ Programme were given out for children from B40 families in the Tawau parliamentary constituency on Wednesday and the distribution exercise continues today (Thursday).
For a start, she handed out 362 sets to community representatives who are responsible for reaching out to children in need in their respective areas.
“My contribution is to help lessen the burden of parents with school-going children, and who are struggling to meet their education needs,” Liew said.
