KUALA LUMPUR: Tawau MP Datuk Christina Liew was among the Members of Parliament who attempted to walk from the Dataran Merdeka to Parliament on Monday to protest against Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and his Cabinet while calling on them to resign.
She said the turnout of 107 MPs from the various Opposition parties was a clear manifestation of solidarity among them.

“All the leaders of Opposition parties, including Tun Dr Mahathir, were among those who turned up for the protest against the Prime Minister.
The undemocratic action of shutting down Parliament has united all the Opposition parties in Malaysia.”However, we could not proceed with the march as we were stopped by the police and asked to disperse,” commented Liew who is also Api Api Assemblywoman.
