KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah International Beauty Expo 2026 (SIBEX2026) aims to attract up to 50,000 visitors, while positioning Sabah as a regional destination for beauty industry exhibitions and business opportunities.

Organised by ESM Exhibitor Relations Malaysia, the three-day expo will take place at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) here from Dec 4 to 6, bringing together local and international beauty brands, industry professionals, businesses and consumers.

Held under the theme “3 Days to Be Beautiful”, SIBEX2026 will showcase a broad range of products and services, including skincare, cosmetics, hair care, professional beauty, wellness, salons and spas.

The expo will also facilitate business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) engagements, enabling participating brands to reach consumers while exploring potential partnerships with distributors, retailers, salon operators, spa businesses and beauty professionals.

The organiser is inviting Sabah-based, Malaysian and international beauty brands to participate, with a focus on tapping into the growing beauty market in Sabah and the wider Borneo region.

SIBEX2026 will also provide a platform for local beauty entrepreneurs and home-grown brands to increase their market visibility, reach new customers and establish connections with industry players.

Visitors can expect exhibition-exclusive deals, promotional prices, product samples, complimentary gifts, beauty demonstrations, makeup activities and product presentations throughout the event.

Admission is free, allowing consumers to explore new brands, experience beauty products and enjoy special promotions.

According to the organiser, the expo is part of a broader effort to strengthen Kota Kinabalu’s appeal as a venue for regional exhibitions and industry events, with the long-term ambition of establishing SIBEX as an annual platform for the beauty industry.

ESM Exhibitor Relations Malaysia, an award-winning event organiser with experience in exhibitions and business events in Sabah and Malaysia, said the initiative seeks to strengthen connections among brands, consumers and business partners while positioning Sabah as a gateway to the Borneo beauty market.
