LABUAN: LJ Resources Enterprise, a leading local training provider, successfully organized an E-Invoicing Training at Pusat Giat MARA, supported by the SME Association Labuan.
The training, conducted by seasoned expert Ms. Cathy Molly Albert from Kota Kinabalu, attracted 19 participantsfrom various industries across Labuan.
The focus of the training was on the e-invoicing requirements recently enforced by the Malaysian government, starting this year and being implemented in stages.
The new regulations mandate that all businesses with a revenue exceeding RM150,000 must adopt the e-invoicing system.
The staggered enforcement aims to allow businesses, especially SMEs, time to adapt to the new system progressively.
Ms. Cathy Molly Albert, with her vast experience, provided participants with valuable insights into the technical aspects and benefits of e-invoicing, ensuring they are well-prepared for this transition.
The training emphasized how the system would streamline billing processes, enhance accuracy, and improve compliance with tax regulations, making it easier for businesses to meet government standards.

This training is vital in helping businesses get comfortable with the system, ensuring a smooth transition,” he said
The Malaysian government’se-invoicing mandate, which will be fully implemented in the coming months, is expected to have far-reaching impacts on industries nationwide, improving transparency, efficiency, and tax compliance.
Participants expressed their appreciation for the knowledge gained and recognized the importance of staying ahead of these regulatory changes to maintain competitiveness.
