GARBAGE PILE-UP...Tawau MP Datuk Christina Liew (pointing to the mess) has urged the Tawau Municipal Council (MPT) Garbage Collection Division to address the problem of uncollected rubbish at the Bin Centre at Lorong 4, Kg Saddani in Sri Tanjung.
“I am disappointed that public and environmental health has been compromised,” she said, adding residents complained that the overflowing bins had not been emptied for a number of days.
Liew had supported the upgrading of the bin centre, implemented by the Maxim E-Hailing Drivers Recreation Club under the Clean and Healthy Community Programme (sponsored by the All-Party Parliamentary Group Malaysia (APPGM) – Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
