KOTA KINABALU: KTC Consolidated Berhad’s three-day mega sale has generated strong public response, recording RM1.4 million in sales over the first two days, with the promotion entering its final day today.

The strong sales performance reflects continued consumer interest in the mega sale, which offers a wide range of household goods and daily necessities at promotional prices.

The sale officially opened on Aug 28, drawing large crowds to the venue as consumers took advantage of various special offers and discounts.

The event received an additional boost yesterday with the appearance of popular Singaporean actor Henry Thia, better known as Hui Ge, who met and interacted with shoppers from 1pm to 3pm.

His appearance attracted fans and members of the public, many of whom took the opportunity to meet the actor, take photographs and participate in activities at the venue.

Hui Ge’s presence added further excitement to the second day of the promotion, with shoppers continuing to throng the venue throughout the event.

KTC Consolidated Berhad Executive Director Datuk Dexter Lau said the encouraging sales recorded during the first two days demonstrated the strong response from consumers.

He said the mega sale was organised not only to provide consumers with more affordable shopping options, but also to strengthen engagement between KTC and the community.

“We hope this mega sale will give members of the public the opportunity to purchase their daily necessities at more affordable prices, while also allowing more people to learn about the products and services offered by KTC.

“Engaging directly with the public through on-site activities is also an important way for us to build stronger connections with our consumers,” he said.

Lau expressed appreciation to the public for their strong support since the opening of the sale and urged consumers to take advantage of the final day today.

The three-day mega sale, which runs from Aug 28 to 30, features a variety of special offers and limited-time promotions, with selected products offered at discounts of up to 80 per cent.

With the promotion entering its final day, consumers are advised to visit early as selected promotional items are limited and subject to availability.

The organiser expects continued public interest as shoppers make their final purchases before the mega sale concludes today.
